Patch Galloway, NJ --Information for the Galloway Township Police Blotter for the dates Feb. 3-9, 2013 has been supplied by local law enforcement agencies. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
The Galloway Township Police Department responded to 854 calls for service. Of these, 37 were emergency medical calls, six were fire calls, eight were domestic violence calls and 18 were motor vehicle accidents. Officers made 43 arrests and issued 62 tickets, including five DWI.
* A building burglary was reported on Feb. 5 on Fairhaven Hill Court, and on Feb. 8 on the 500 block of West White Horse Pike.
* On Feb. 4, Christopher Caracci, 38, of Mays Landing, was arrested by Ofc. Daniel Choe for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On Feb. 5, Robert Toscano, 36, of Galloway, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
* On Feb. 6, Nicolas Pao, 31, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Ofc. Przemyslaw Ryba for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
* On Feb. 6, Tuan Tran, 26, of Galloway, was arrested by DSgt. Donna Higbee and Detective Ryan Goehringer for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
* On Feb. 7, Adalberta Nieves, 54, of Egg Harbor Township, was arrested by Ofc. Daniel Choe for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On Feb. 7, Daniel D. Torres, 18, of Carlstadt, was arrested by Ofc. Steven Garrison for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
* On Feb. 7, Wade Saldanha, 19, of Matawan, was arrested by Ofc. Steven Garrison for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
* On Feb. 8, Ariel Amilani, 28, of Hamilton Township, was arrested by Ofc. Patrick Neal for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On Feb. 8, Oreen Z. Shams, 29, of Sicklerville, was arrested by Ofc. Daniel Weigle for Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest.
* On Feb. 8, Gerard Ossipo, 35, of Galloway, was arrested by Ofc. Kevin Costa for Driving While Intoxicated.
* On Feb. 9, Marlon Lloyd, 28, of Hamilton Township, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger for Receiving Stolen Property. =
* On Feb. 9, Hugo Sanchez-Martinez, 23, of Galloway, was arrested by K-9 Ofc. Scott Winneberger for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams.
* On Feb. 3, four juveniles, including three 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old, were arrested by Ofc. John Mooney for Criminal Trespass.
* On Feb. 9, a 17-year-old was arrested by Ofc. William Kline for Underage Possession of Alcohol.
