This is Hull and East Riding -- HULL FC are preparing to be without stand-off Daniel Holdsworth for the coming weeks after he hobbled off with a calf injury in tonight's 27-26 loss to Wakefield at the KC Stadium. It means the Aussie is certain to miss next weeks clash with in-form Huddersfield and likely to sit out the Challenge Cup quarter-final at Catalan a week later. Coach Peter Gentle admitted he could not see it being a short-term injury. "We will get him scanned tomorrow. We think it's a calf strain but we are not sure. I can't see it being short term," said Gentle. Hull had previously said Richard Horne would not be rushed back until the Catalan game at the earliest, but he was said to be making good progress on his foot injury last week.
