![Two men charged with murder after death of Daniel Walsh in Grantham]()
This is Lincolnshire -- Two people have been charged with the murder of 30-year-old Daniel Walsh in Grantham in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police were called to Edinburgh Road, Grantham, just after midnight on July 28. Mr Walsh was taken to Grantham hospital where he later died. Three local men, one aged 21 and the other two aged 24 and a local woman aged 26 were arrested in connection with the incident. The two people charged with murder are Ben Croft, 24, from Barrowby and Sam Croft, 21, from Barrowby. Both men have been remanded in custody to appear at Grantham Magistrates Court at a date yet to be confirmed. The 24-year-old local man also arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge in relation to this matter. The 26-year-old local woman also arrested in connection with this incident has been released without charge in relation to this matter. DCI Martin Holvey of the East Midlands Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation. "There will be a significant police presence in the area over the next couple of days while we carry out investigations," he said. "Local officers will also be on hand so please do approach them if you have any concerns. "We would like anyone who has any information on this incident to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
