Daniel O'Donnell had to cancel his Pavilions show and part of his tour last year, due to the death of his father in law. So fans will be all the more eager to see their hero, who is adored for his genuine warmth and love for his fans as much as his ability to entertain. Daniel has earned a place in the Guinness World Records with at least one hit album every year since 1988. He has always been very motivated to make it in what is, generally, perceived to be an outmoded genre. "I got very little encouragement when I started out because people thought that my music was from a bygone era and had no relevance or place in the world today," he says. "I felt they were wrong and I was right because I have succeeded in doing what I wanted!"
