Patch Lindenhurst, NY --Lindenhurst High School students in Richard Week’s class visited Daniel Street Elementary School to educate fifth-grade students about the German culture.
A brief lesson about numbers, days of the week and months was given by the high school students.
Students made cards using various German words, and learned how to sing Silent Night in the language.
Everyone also enjoyed German cookies.
“It was a great experience for all,” said Weeks.
